My name is Gabriela Barbieri and I'm a freelance photographer based in Philadelphia, PA, and South Florida. Starting in high school, as I was fortunate enough to have been accepted to a prestigious local art program, and have been practicing ever since. Photography has always been a passion of mine with my primary focus being music photography and events. However, I have a series of fine art pieces in which I continuously work on and is a huge part of who I am as an artist.
I got my undergraduate degree from the University of the Arts in 2020 with a major in Crafts & Material Studies with minors in Studio Photography and Music Business Entrepreneurship & Technology. During my time there I studied at Korea University of the Arts for an exchange semester in 2017.
Prior to this, I had attended A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach majoring in Digital Media and graduating in 2015. This gave me the opportunity to study at Centro located in Mexico City, Mexico for a summer term studying Interactive Design.
As a photographer, I've worked with Live Nation, WXPN, NOTO, WOW Philly, Backyard Fort Lauderdale, Fillmore Philadephia, Theater of Living Arts, MET Philly, several bands, newspapers, magazines and publications.
